Dr. Barry Wagenberg
Dr. Barry Wagenberg has been practicing periodontics since 1974. He maintains a private practice while continuing his roles as educator, researcher, author and lecturer. Dr. Wagenberg is tireless in his pursuit of excellence and continually attends and coordinates continuing education seminars. He presently is Director of Dental Education and Director of Periodontics at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and is an Associate Clinical Professor at New York University Dental School. He has served on the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Wagenberg is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Academy of Osseointegration, The American Academy of Oral Medicine, The American Academy of Periodontology, and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Wagenberg has published numerous articles as well as a textbook and contributed chapters in two additional textbooks. His curriculum vitae is exhaustive.
Dr. Stephanie Cruz
Dr. Stephanie Cruz, a Union County resident, attended Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and completed her Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at New York University.
Her program allowed her to be trained and experience the latest advancements in Periodontics. Stephanie has demonstrated an excellent work ethic and abilities. She is bi-lingual and will be a great help with our Hispanic patients. Dr. Cruz is a member of American Academy of Periodontology.
When not busy with periodontics, she stays active playing field hockey throughout the Tri-State area.
